Sex and the City

When I was a kid,I used to play with my dolls every day.It wasn't that simple, though.I had an entire scenario in my head.I knew what was going to happen: the marriage knot.Simple story, like the ones we read in Harlequin books and Hollywood movies. Well, growing up (not old!) taught me real life is different. I have no idea who's written the script of my own life. What if this screenwriter sucks? What if he's drunk? What if he hates me?As a true, conscientious single, I don't care about the knot.As a matter of fact,I'm deadly afraid of it.I must be drunk or guarded or else I won't show up to church. Anyway,I found out that women go through life with Harlequin stereotypes. If a man should want to know what women want,he should just buy a Harlequin book. It'll do all the job.No matter how cruel a woman may seem,we seem to be raised on that crap!Plus, when you hear a woman talking about love like a man and also behave like a man in her love life, there's probably been a jackass man who broke that heart, which is now a Margaret Thatcher heart.Women normally think the same-old scenario will work for them someday.Well, who knows?Do we have to know? Why can't we just live for the moment?
